Mommy & Me Playdates
Its spring! For many of us that means restless toddlers and preschoolers and a busy schedule. If you are looking for something to do with your little one and want a place to connect with other moms , this is the place for you! We will have three activities for the month of May -- come to one or all! It will be a fun way to meet meet up with friends or make new ones.

Self Defense Class
Saturday, May 20th | 8am-3pm
Brian Kirkhorn is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and is making it his mission to teach people basic self defense. Trained in pressure points and weapons programs, Brian has been actively involved in training through the Personal Defense Network. This class will include pre-planning, awareness, defensiveness aids and techniques, as well as safety tips.
2017 Canvas Softball Team
Its that time again! Softball season is right around the corner and we would love to have you play on one of our church league teams. Come out and make friends in a fun environment that helps make our big church smaller.
Church league plays on Thursday nights and goes from about May to August.
Cost to play will be between $20-$40. We will communicate as details are set.
2017 Spartan Race Team
Team training will begin in March for the Race being held Sunday, May 7th. Times, locations and opportunities in the months ahead will be communicated with you. All details of the Spartan experience are located at Spartan.com, it is important to remember that you will need to register through the Spartan website as well.
This year the Spartan Race is the weekend of May 6/7. The Beast (12-14 miles) race takes place on Saturday, the 6th and The Sprint will be on Sunday, May 7th.
You can find great discounts for these races on Groupon.com and also the Spartan.com website. The Canvas Church team will race the Sprint Race, Sunday, May 7th. You can also sign up for the beast if you like.
Empty Nesters Sock Hop Event
Friday, April 28 | 7-10 pm
Join us at The Armory (2nd street and Meridian across from Peterson School) on April 28th, 7-10pm as the Empty Nester group presents a Sock Hop! Enjoy great music from the 50's and 60's, dance instruction, snacks and friends! Admission at the door is $5.00! Everyone 18+ is welcome!!!
Canvas Motorcycle Group
This group will ride together on select Sunday's in June, July and August. We will leave after the early Gathering each time. Rides will potentially include trips around Flathead Lake, Essex, Eureka, or Libby. There will be some initial get togethers to discuss potential rides and get to know each other. Dates will be determined, but this group promises some fun rides and times this summer!
Habitat for Humanity Build Group:
Join us as we help Habitat for Humanity build homes right here in the Flathead Valley. You can come for one day, two days, or even three! Last year Canvas Church served the most hours while helping build homes for families. No building experience or tools necessary. Habitat will provide tools, supplies and on-site team leaders to get projects done. We will be helping with builds on the following dates; Wednesday, May 17th, Friday May, 19th & Saturday, May 20 & July 26, 28 & 29th.
A couple of times a month this group jumps at the opportunity to explore God’s awesome creation. We take a Saturday or Sunday to hike trails that includes trips throughout the Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park. We will announce hikes as they are set and relay details leading up to each hike. We have hiked Snyder Lake, Columbia Mountain, Apgar Lookout, and many trails found in the park.

Gun Club Group:
This Activity Group is open to men and women who want to make sure their shot is on target. We will meet at Northwest Shooter shooting range on Hwy 2 on various dates. You can bring your own gun and ammo, or rent the equipment and buy the ammo at Northwest Shooter. A small cover charge helps cover the range officer fees. The range will be open 6:30pm to Canvas Church on Tuesday evenings on the following dates:
April 18, & May 23.

Inspired- Business Women’s Lunch:
The 2nd Thursday of each month business woman from around the Flathead Valley come together to make connections, be encouraged, and walk away inspired. We meet in the Canvas Church Lower Auditorium and start at 11:45a and finish at 12:45p. Brown bag and lunch options vary month to month.

This group is for gamers! PC or X-BOX One owners will be connecting at various times over the month online to game and connect as Canvas Church goers.

Thread Based Craft Group
This group will meet once a month on Sunday afternoons and is designed for people of all ages to come together over a cup of tea and thread based crafts. We will knit, crochet, felt, weave, and learn, teach and inspire one another. Times and dates to be announced.
